Write to our Grievance Officer about any complaint: a listing you think is unlawful, a payment or refund, or your personal data. This role is set up under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Response times
- All messages and complaints: acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 7 days.
- Complaints about unlawful content in a listing: acted on within 36 hours.
- Nude, sexual or intimate images of a person, including morphed or AI-made ones: removed within 2 hours of a complaint.
- Valid court or government orders: acted on within 3 hours.
- Approved refunds: sent within 7 working days (see our Refund Policy).
What to include
- Your order ID, and the date and amount, if your message is about a payment.
- The email or mobile number you used, so we can check that the listing or payment is yours.
- The link to the listing concerned.
- What happened, and what you would like us to do.
Never send your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or OTP. We will never ask for them.
If you are not satisfied
For a complaint about content on indbid, you can appeal the Grievance Officer's decision to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days, at gac.gov.in. For a complaint about a payment or the service, you can contact the National Consumer Helpline (call 1915, or visit consumerhelpline.gov.in).
